What is Vivaty Lite?

Vivaty is testing out a preview version of Vivaty that doesn't require any other special downloads, plugins or installs other than Adobe Flash. This preview version lets you get into a Vivaty scene and chat with someone, while customizing your avatar, and listening to some music.

There are a ton of additional features that are currently being tested and will be released over the next month, in addition to a lot more clothing and customization options.

At any time, you can upgrade from the Vivaty Lite experience into the full Vivaty experience by clicking the "Go Party" link in the bottom right.

How does Vivaty Lite relate to the full Vivaty experience?

The Flash version of Vivaty is a great way to get introduced to the experience, explore parts of the world, and meet new people. Currently, you can hangout with one person at a time, but you'll soon be able to build up your friends list, and mingle inbetween both the full Vivaty experience and all of the big parties and events and the more intimate scenes that are in the lightweight version of Vivaty.

Is Vivaty free?

Absolutely!

In the future, we are going to give people the ability to buy some pretty sweet things for their avatar or scene. We'll let people spend real money to buy those things, if they want, but Vivaty has no plans to charge you to sign up and use the service.

What do I need to use the lightweight version of Vivaty?

• Mac, PC or Linux machine. Preferably turned on.
  
• Web browser like Internet Explorer 7 or 8, Firefox 3, Safari or Chrome.
  
• Adobe Flash 10. You can download it here if for some crazy reason you don't already have it.
• Average bandwidth. It'll work on slow connections, but we recommend at least basic DSL/Cable service. Wireless is no problem.
• Cool attitude. Special skills, like juggling, are optional.
   

How old do I have to be to use Vivaty?

All Vivaty users are required to be at least 13 years old. Sorry, no exceptions!

Will Vivaty sell my personal info?

Vivaty will never sell your individual personal information to a third-party. For the full nitty-gritty, you should check out the Privacy Policy.
