Vivaty on a Mac

You can now use Vivaty Lite, a flash-based condensed version of the application, on a Mac.  Please find more information about Vivaty Lite here

Alternately, you can run Vivaty on a Mac if you use Boot Camp, Parallels or VMWare (we do not have a Mac plug-in for the Vivaty Player). We run Vivaty via Boot Camp, which performs much better than using Parallels or VMWare. We hope to soon have a version of Vivaty that can work on a Mac. Please stay tuned.

Vivaty on Boot Camp

1. To learn more about Boot Camp, click here. We recommend using the latest version of Boot Camp, which comes as part of running Leopard / OS X. If you need specific support on running Boot Camp, you can read more here. This informational video makes it easy to install/understand Boot Camp.  Vivaty works fine on Vista 32 or Windows XP on Boot Camp.

2. If you're running the Boot Camp beta, you just need to make sure to install the latest graphic drivers. These are available on the Leopard /OS X DVD. Just run that DVD when you're in Windows mode, and you'll get all the graphic drivers installed tahtyou need.

3. After installing the drivers, simply fire up Firefox or Internet Explorer in Windows via Boot Camp, register on Vivaty, and you're good to go!
